...I'm not sure I have enough to say, or the energy to say it to keep this up!
The brewery tour went well today. This is my third time on the tour, so I know quite a bit about brewing now. Not really. The best part of the tour is the sampling at the end. Well, that used to be better when they had a 1 pm tour. Believe me, I'm not saying drinking at 11 am is a bad thing, but going back to work afterward is tough.
We had a youngin' with us today, so he had to just hang out while the rest of us "sampled". Poor guy. Then again, he knew before going that he wasn't going to be able to drink. Still, it's a bummer to come to the US from a country where you can drink - legally or not - and find that we're all really uptight about alcohol laws. When did the drinking age go up to 21, and why did we think that was a good idea?

I can't shed light on this. When I was 17, I joined a place of employ that allowed people to shoot at me. But I couldn't drink a beer,
My sense of fair play has been askew ever since...
according to some dude in his basement via wikipedia, 1984 was when the nation adopted the 21 and over law. Prior to that, it varied state by state.
