Katy and I met up with eight of my students today for a trip our to Angel Island. We didn't have nearly enough time on the island, but it was a good visit. Which I will now bring to you in picture format:
On the way to meet the students, we saw my favorite Care Bear.
And here's Anubis! He's visiting to encourage people to see the King Tut exhibit. Oh, hells yes.
Oh, look, the Golden Gate Bridge!
Whoop dee doo...
Tiburon seemed like a nice place to visit later on.
Feeding seagulls off the back of the ferry.
Wait, what happened to the island? I didn't really take any pictures on the island... d'oh. Well, next time. We're trying to figure out how to camp on the island even though Saturday campsites have been sold out for months. Take a Friday off? Take a Monday off? I'm already in negative vacation time....

Liar! You went to Marin and back, and that's it, didn't you?
What's next? Your trip to Area 51?
Anubis! Totally awesome!!!! And is that Shroom Bear? Hysterical!
I love the bay pictures. Very nice!
looks like you had perfect weather for a day on the bay.
the only time I have ever camped on Angel Island was when a small group of friends "missed" the last ferry.
good times.
(best mexican restaurant ever, Guaymas, is over in Tiburon...are you guys going to be around in August?
maybe we can synch the schedules and head across the bridge to Marin and Tiburon for a lunch on the bay?)
(I'll fb you details.)
Wow, that's one huge Anubis!
